Pear Ice Dessert

4 soft ripe pears or 825g can of pears in natural juice

2 lemons

1/4 cup honey

1 cup water

 

Peel and core pears, cut into quarters and place in a blender. Cut lemons in half and squeeze out juice. Add lemon juice and honey to pears blend until pulpy. Push pear mixture through a sieve, and stir water into strained pear mixture. Pour into a shallow cake tin. Cover and freeze for approx. 4 hours. Stir with a fork and return to freezer to set. Approx. 1 hour before serving use a fork to break into tiny crystals, return to freezer until ready to serve.
