Low Protein Biscuits
(From: 'Metabolic Cooking Workshop 2000' Womens & Childrens Hospital - Adelaide)
200g Nutelex or Becel margarine
190g Cornflour
60g custard powder
80g icing sugar
3 drops vanilla essence
Cream butter and icing sugar, add vanilla essence, add custard powder and cornflour gradually. Mix all ingredients thoroughly. Roll into 24 balls, flatten with fork. Bake in moderate oven 180øC (350F) for approximately 15 minutes.
When cooled, dust lightly with icing sugar. Makes 24 - Free
